My Road to $10,000 a Month (Week 5)
June is off to a good start so far, with a number of projects coming in. My earnings in the first week of June are definitely better compared to May.
Here’s the breakdown:

JUNE 2020 WEEK 5 (1 June to 7 June)
Seems like I’m on the right track so far. Most of the projects involve branding for businesses and brands, with a couple of book covers thrown in. One of my bigger projects this week is a single page design for a family-run real estate business. The client actually found me through LinkedIn; he like my logo designs posted there and decided to reach out to me for this project.
A couple of my past clients also reconnected with me for new projects, reinforcing the importance of building and maintaining good client relationships.

As a graphic designer I’m passionate about what I do, but reaching out and marketing to new clients is still daunting even though I have been in the business for more than 5 years. As such, Google Ads seem like a good way to get more clients so I’m going to put up an ad for my logo design service next week and see how things go.
Still going strong on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, DeviantArt, and LinkedIn. I’m also promoting diligently and consistently on Reddit, since most of my clients still come from there.
I have been working to make this website more visually appealing.
That concludes the fifth week of my road to $10,000 a month as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. I still need to do more to expand my client base.
