My Road to $10,000 a Month (Week 13)
The first week of August hasn’t been too bad. I have finally rented a place that will function as my home office, so I will be busy the first half of this month moving and settling in.
Here’s the breakdown:
|Amount Earned ($)||Amount Earned ($)|
|Passive Income (POD)||2.94|
AUGUST 2020 WEEK 13 (1 August to 8 August)
The biggest change I made was to start charging higher prices for my services. I realized that in my desperation to reach my goal sooner, I have been accepting projects that were frankly not worth my time and effort. As my skills and knowledge in graphic design developed over the past 5 years I now have the confidence to seek high-end clients.
One of them was for a automotive detailing company. They were a graphic designer’s dream client — the design process was straightforward and it took just 2 revisions for them to be satisfied with the final product.
After some intense coding and web design, my portfolio site is finally completed. It looks much more professional and I can say I’m not ashamed to reach out to high-end clients.
That concludes the thirteenth week of my road to $10,000 a month as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. My energies are on setting everything up in my new place, but after that it will be full speed ahead.
